Description:

Climbing vine with purple flower clusters. Small ovate, pinnately compound leaves. Ends of leaves have tendrils that help the plant to secure itself to its surroundings. Introduced.

Habitat:

Growing over cultivated shrubbery in a yard.

Notes:

Used as forage and cover crop. Seeds and young leaves are said to be edible when cooked.
