Description:

A small songbird that is drably colored with few distinct field marks. Its back is green and its underparts whitish. The crown and nape are gray with a thin white line over eyes.

Habitat:

Looking for insects in the Hackberry trees. These birds are in constant motion.

Thanks for sorting these two spottings out. I will correct them and add to my knowledge. Usually I see the Yellow Warblers return about now. I guess this is why they are listed in the field guide as "confusing fall warblers." :)

Yellow lack the supercilium (seen in number 2) and have pale lores.
