Description:

The French marigold (also known as tagetes patula) is a species in the daisy family that are found in several naturalized populations around the world. The flower is an annual that usually grows up to 0.5m by 0.3m. It also flowers from July to October, depending on the climate. Marigolds come in different colors such as red, orange, and yellow.

Habitat:

Its native habitat is in the highlands of central Mexico. These flowers are grown outdoors in the spring and summer. They are also, produced from September to killing frost.
