Description:

Dragonflies are among the fastest insects that are part of the Ordonata order. They have an elongated body with two transparent wings and multifaceted eyes. They eat mosquitoes, bees, flies, and other small insects. They are very colorful and can travel at almost 30 miles per hour.

Habitat:

They are usually found near bodies of water such as ponds, lakes, streams, and wetlands because their larvae are aquatic.
