Falco rusticolus/Falco cherrug
This may be controversial for some people to say the least. This Gyrfalcon/Saker Falcon halfbreed was adapted (somewhat like a dog) by a group of falconers who I saw at the Renaissance Fair in Sebastopol, CA. The woman that owned this literal one-of-a-kind raptor told me she wanted the size of the middle-eastern Saker Falcon but retain the cold-hardened readiness of the Gyrfalcon. I am indifferent about this. On one hand it kind of seems wrong. But on the other, seeing this absolutely beautiful one-of-a-kind raptor up close in person is amazing and incredible for me, personally.
