Moth with pointed snout

Description:

This was a small moth with frayed looking edges of the wings. What really impressd me was the length of its pointed snout! Dirty white in colour with a few scattered dark dots.

Habitat:

Sitting on the door...in imminent danger of being crushed if the door is opened/closed without care. It was drawn towards the porch light of the cottage at Neora Valley Jungle Camp, Village Kolakham; a remote, forested area situated at an altitude of 1868m in the Kalimpong Hills of Darjeeling District, on the fringes of Neora Valley National Park.
