Notes:

A day flying butterfly moth from the family callidulidae. Posibly a Callidula sp.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I assure you it is not a butterfly. The identical specimen at: /www.learnaboutbutterflies.com/New%20Guinea%20-%20Hypochrysops%20bysos.htm was wrongly named and after contacting the webpage owner has been taken down.

Some Harlequin butterflies in Riodinidae family have such type of colours and design
