Description:

Small moth with mottled black/brown/gray coloration. Black bar across wings. Dark dot on each wing. Resting position is with head pointed down. This moth species has a lot of variation in color.

Habitat:

William Floyd Estate, NY. Wooded area on the grounds.

Notes:

Probably attracted to the lights on the building the night before. I saw two of these moths on the building.
