Spiny Tailed House Gecko

Hemidactylus frenatus

Description:

About 12 cm. White spots on his back and tail. Golden eyes with a darker stripe vertically down the middle. Very very curious!

Habitat:

Our garden Ratsada Phuket Thailand

Notes:

This little guy fell on me when emptying a basket. And unlike all the other gecko's that have fallen on me in the past, he did not jump of of me but stayed for a while. It gave us the chance to have a good look and snap some pictures of him. I put him in a plant pot and the next day he was still around the same spot. when I held my hand near him he walked right onto it as if he belonged there! For a very very brief moment I was tempted to get him his own terrarium and keep him as a pet. Only for a brief moment tho.
