NZ jumping spider (male)

Trite planiceps

Description:

He might look monstrous, but actually he was only 1.2cm long...He came from behind my stove, I gently removed him out of the house, after I snapped some pictures of him, of course...I am sure he was looking at me, I hope he wasn't thinking me as a potential meal :)

They're pretty common in Wellington area...If you ever come for vacations in NZ, you might gonna see one jumping spider yourself :)

Sure i liked the Jumper Despina ... the reason being jumping spiders are my favorites and this Trite sp. is endemic to NZ ..so i would have never got a chance to see it here in India ..:-)
