Moth

Description:

Elongated body. The wings form a sort of narrow tent. The top-middle is fluffy, as are the fore legs, but the sides of the wings that bear abstract designs like crack marks of cream on brown, are not flluffy.

Habitat:

Village Kolakham; a remote, forested area at an altitude of 1868m in the Kalimpong Hills of Darjeeling District, on the fringes of Neora Valley National Park. There were many similar looking moths and plenty of different one; all united by their love of light...in this case our porch light.
