Description:

Medium to large deer with a dark brown to gray upper body with a white underbody. Upper body color changes in the spring to a reddish to tan color.

Habitat:

Woodland edges, forests, and field

Notes:

This species is abundant in this area year around. After hunting season the deer in the area are relatively calm and tolerant of people in their vicinity.
