Pseudocyphellaria sp.
Ground-dwelling foliose lichen. I have chosen this ID because I know the species is found in this park, and my image searches match the species. Pseudocyphellaria sp. is often found growing on Araucaria species trees as well, and they are to be found here in abundance (Cook and Hoop Pines). Another ID possibility was Sticta sp. (S. latifrons most likely), but there is no reference I can find that supports this.
Found along the Reservoir Track in the Brisbane Forest Park at Enoggera Reservoir. Well-shaded hillside location, and ground moist.
When I found these specimens, I once again thought they were a species of liverwort. I also thought they were the same species as the following spotting, only in a different location that was well-shaded and much moister, hence they looked green and lush. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/152... I was wrong on both counts - not a liverwort, and not the same species.
