The female has a grey head with a white spot behind the eye. The back has iridescent green. The wings and tails are mostly grey. Underneath is pale with some streaking. The long bill is dark.

Habitat:

Spotted at the Patagonia-Sonoita Creek Preserve in Patagonia, Arizona.
