Cryptocephalus sp.
A small cylinder beetle (Cryptocephalinae) locally fairly common on eucalyptus. The bright orange elytra have three black dots on each side. This pattern of six dots occurs in several species but this one is yet undetermined. http://plantationhealth.com.au/pdf/pestn...
Several found on small eucalyptus on the roadside.
The Sweet Bursaria flowers indicate a staged photo shoot for this cooperative beetle. http://www.flickr.com/photos/15274190@N0...

The assumption of Cadmus seems premature.
I have located a link to Cryptocephalus which is likely but not yet specific.
