Oecophorid moth

Leistomorpha brontoscopa

Description:

This dark oecophorid moth was about 10mm long with long wirey antennae. Wings were dark with pale yellow flecks on the fore wings and pale markings close to the base and half way down the inner margins. The trailing edge of the wings were heavily fringed. Thorax was dark and shiny. Labial palps were curved.

Habitat:

Eucalyptus forests

Notes:

Not able to find much information about this particular species but will keep looking...
