Badhamia utricularis
Cheers Lars. I ended up going back to this slime mould a couple of days later. Although the original spotting seemed in a similar state, I found another one only 40cm away that seemed a bit further on in it's process. The 6th pic shows a few of the older 'fruitbodies' hanging by a spiders thread in mid-air as if levitating. Physarum album? Physarum globuliferum?

Wow! They look like blueberries!
Awesome! Great additional shot!
They do look different to mine, now that we have a closer view on the stems (which are not the orange strings mine have been hangin on).
I went out that way again last night for a walk (2 days after first spotting) and found some slightly older ones. Thanks for the advice, it was an interesting walk!
If you are able to, try and watch the evolvement - typical for mine are the yellowish strings they hang on later - looking like grapes.
I've changed the name
Thanks Lars! They do look very similar
It's a slime mold, rat.tumour - got a similar one, probably the same: Badhamia utricularis. Compare with my 3 spottings:
