A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Moringa oleifera
A delightfully delicious tree I came to love during my years in the Philippines.
Here in florida, ours is obviously in a pot, since it will not appreciate possible frosts. We need to be able to bring it in the garage during frost-warnings. In the wild, it grows in tropical climates.
Yummy yummy yummy! Leaves are totally edible, and are very nutritious. Our favorite way to prepare them is in a chicken or fish-based soup called "tinola". My Ninang would put coconut milk in it too!!! MMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmm! http://www.marketmanila.com/archives/tin...
