Euphaea subcostalis

Description:

A beautiful male damselfly resting on a rock in the middle of a river. This species and close relatives display bright metallic blue mark on their black opaque hindwings which are short and quite broad. The length of this species is 23-24 mm. This species can be confused with a E. subnodalis.

Habitat:

The river in Madai Waterfalls Forest Reserve Park (Pusat Sejadi Hutan Simpan Madai Baturong Kunak), Sabah.

Notes:
