Euphaea subcostalis
A beautiful male damselfly resting on a rock in the middle of a river. This species and close relatives display bright metallic blue mark on their black opaque hindwings which are short and quite broad. The length of this species is 23-24 mm. This species can be confused with a E. subnodalis.
The river in Madai Waterfalls Forest Reserve Park (Pusat Sejadi Hutan Simpan Madai Baturong Kunak), Sabah.
>>>Map accuracy : 1km diameter. I am confident the ID of this one is correct because I have read the description from the actual scientific report.
