Description:

This attractive cutworm has a wing span of 50 mm. They have shimmering wings of grey, brown and pink. Each fore wing has an elongated brown mark which is broken by an oval shaped pale marking and lower down by a reniform mark.

Habitat:

Spotted under bright lights near a national park

Notes:

A striking moth - but there are too many of them !! Family: Noctuidae Subfamily: Noctuinae
