Common blackbird

Turdus Merula Merula

Description:

Black bird with glossy plumage and long tail with a bright orange/yellow ring around the eye. Orange beak and blackish brown legs. It was being very curious about most things that moved, observing them, like the sparrow on the first picture.

Habitat:

Urban.

Notes:

I believe this blackbird is male? I couldn't help to notice this fellow. He was very bold, curious and seemed very smart. He wasn't afraid of the oblivious people who walked about, although he did jump away if I wasn't careful when approaching.
