Feeding on mistletoe. A sporadically common butterfly.
These were collected as eggs at Pyramid Hill, Victoria. These larvae are captive bred and used mainly for school butterfly release programs.

The lower specimen has now had its final molt to produce the chrysalis.
These mature caterpillars sew a silk girdle around their waist to hold their upright position for imminent pupation.
