It is found in Northern Australia and Asia: China (Guangdong, Guangxi, Hong Kong, and Hainan), Indonesia, India, Japan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Malaysia, Philippines, Peninsular Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, and Vietnam.
