Blue – Tailed Green Darner

Anax guttatus (Burmeister, 1839)

Description:

head & thorax ; eyes compound colour to the young pear – green and black shadow ; overall , great yellow ( ; mellow) to the face ( ; fronz ) , clypeus & labrum ; short antenne for white . Green azure – and young pear and green covering young yellow to the body side – blue young ordinary to the body part near the abdomen ; pair of black knee ( ; feet ) . Wings ; black lined for venation , great nodus ; and hard black colour – tern pterostigma to the top corner . Abdomen ; ordinary pallete colour indistance by two ; black and yellow – green pear ; to look for triangle body shape ; overall pattern to tail ( ; S1 – S10 ) ; abdominal side of abdomen ; hard - black line throught until the top of appendage .

Habitat:

Puddle . Dryng river DAM .

Notes:

Aslike for solitery to lay the eggs into the puddle – brushing in a corner spoting river DAM .
