Description:

The smallest subspecies of reindeer and endemic to the island of Svalbard/Spitsbergen. Unlike reindeer on the Norwegian mainland, the Svalbard reindeer have not been domesticated. Despite this they are very docile and friendly towards humans. For more information see the bull I posted earlier.

Habitat:

Arctic tundra, endemic to the island of Svalbard/Spitsbergen.
