Description:

Low growing wildflower whose flower resembles our flowering dogwood (provincial flower of BC!) the tree Pacific Dogwood. They carpet the forest floor in many areas of BC in the coniferous and mixed wooklands, meadows, bogs, valley bottoms to subalpine elevations. Bright red, pulpy, sweet berries.
