Eastern Tiger Swallowtail caterpillar

Papilio glaucus

Description:

About 1/2in in length maybe 1/4in length at widest part. Appears to be a cocooning insect. Vibrant Green with white banding. Barely visible is some silk or webbing covering the leaf and pupa (?). *** Update: 4th picture is one day later! Look how fast it's growing.

Habitat:

A nut tree leaf, I believe hickory or buckeye. West central ga wood line.

Notes:

WOW! Thanks for the ID Ornithoptera80. We've had so many swallowtails around this year, it's amazing to see one this "young" :)
