Yellow-Headed Caracara

Description:

This yellow-headed caracara was about 40 cm long with a black streak behind the eye, cream chest and brown feathers on the wings.

Habitat:

Despite being a bird of savanna, swamps and forest edges, this caracara was spotted on a remote tropical island, eating coconut flesh.
