Smaller erect plant with hairy leaves and stems. Clusters of tiny, pale lavender flowers at each spot on stem where leaves sprout. Native!

You did lead me in the right direction though. I think this is American Wild Mint, Mentha canadensis.
Hi QWMom, I did look at Clinopodium vulgare but I think the flowers are a different shape. I think the leaves are growing in a different way as well. Thank you though!
