Description:

Adult males are crimson-red with black wings and tail. A medium-sized songbird that migrates to South America in the winter and northeastern United States in the Spring.

Habitat:

Spotted in dense deciduous vegetation at the Black Bayayou Lake NWR in Louisiana.
