Paranomala (Anomala) sp.

Description:

This little scarab is only about 8 mm long. It has also come to a black light, but not regular light bulbs. It is covered in fine gold hairs. Ponce & Moron (2009) have moved this genus to the genus Paranomala: http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?pid=....

Habitat:

Semi-urban area on outskirts of San Cristobal, 2,200 meters. On a shrub.
