Description:

Small Scarab of about 8 mm, light brown with black markings and reddish antennae. Family Scarabaeidae, Rutelinae.

Habitat:

Under a street lamp at night, semi-rural residential area, San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico 2,200 meters. This might be Paranomala terronoides ( See: Primer registro de Paranomala terronoides Morón y Nogueira, 2002 (Coleoptera: Scarabaeoidea: Rutelinae) en Chiapas, Dugesiana 20(1): 61-62, 2013, Morón and Nogueira.)
