Project Noah Nature School
Family Stratiomyidae
Thank you for the ID, Juan.
Excellent. Great to have such skills in Noah. Thanks for that. (wish my abdomen was frequently depressed :)
well, Soldier flies have big eyes, so the head looks semi-spherical. Then the antenae are allways this shape and the abdomen frequently is depressed
Amazing Juan... what says Soldier fly ? Thorax? legs?
This is a Soldier fly also (Stratiomyidae)
Thank you, Argy. I hope Juan can tell us more about this one.
Fabulous! ..some syrphidae... but which one?
