House Lizard

Hemidactylus frenatus

Description:

Butiki in my native language, this house lizard is about 10cm, a bit longer than the usual house lizards without spots that I am used to seeing on our ceiling. The Common House Gecko, is a native of southeastern Asia. It is also known as the Pacific house gecko, the Asian house gecko, or simply, the house lizard. Most geckos are nocturnal, hiding during the day and foraging for insects at night. They can be seen climbing walls of houses and other buildings in search of insects attracted to porch lights, hence their name "House Gecko". Source: Wikipedia.

Habitat:

Spotted in the garage.

This is huge! I honestly had no clue that they had claws either. Nice series.
