Desert Lavender

Lavandula coronopifolia

Description:

"A densely puberulent to glabrescent, woody-based perennial with a pleasant or acrid aroma. Stems are many, oppositely branched, erect and stiff. Leaves are 2–3-pinnatisect with oblong-linear and acute lobes. Spikes are often interrupted below, dense and solitary or in panicles; verticillasters are two flowered and corolla is pale blue. Fruit is an ovoid, reticulate nutlet." ~bibalex
