Araneus diadematus
Color: Orangish-brown. Body size: 1/2 inch, leg-to-leg: 1 1/2 inch.
On the shrub in my front yard.
Couldn't get to the other side to take a photo of his back.
@RiekoS: YES! We must have been twins! Thank you for letting me know about your spotting on the same spider (we had the same kind of comment, too!).
I also used to be very scared of moths (big ones in particular), but now, I think most of them are cute and can't wait to spot them myself. I think Project Noah has that effect on us members. :)
I think we were twins in our past life ;-)
I think we also found the same kind of spider.
Here is my spotting:

I know this is not as cool as other spider photos, but I'm excited to be able to post this spotting. I used to be scared of spiders, and I'd scream in fear every time I saw them. But this time, I screamed in joy and ran into my house to get my camera to take photos for Project Noah. I'm very happy with the changes that Project Noah brought to me. :)
