Cedar waxwing

Bombycilla cedrorum

Description:

I find cedar waxwings fascinating with their "zorro" type black mask and their waxy shiny appearance. They look for berry-laden trees and hedges. They are common throughout North America.

Habitat:

I spotted about 5 cedar waxwings in the backyard mulberry tree that is now heavy with fruit.
