Hey Pam, nice butterfly. This adult is very worn and possibly emerged last season, hibernating over winter. It appears to have perched on nettle and she (?) has very likely been laying eggs on that larval foodplant. http://morwellnp.pangaean.net/cgi-bin/sh...
