False Owlet Moth

Thyatira Moth

Description:

So beautiful, with gorgeous spots and silky like wings. A huge hairy head and those spectacular shoulders.

Notes:

I am happy this Moth has a background, but I think it is not thoroughly researched by experts, for one they call Costaricensis..... Costaricana?? Very uneducated?!

What a gorgeous moth! Moths actually have very tiny heads (don't have much to think about I guess). The huge hairy head is it's thorax, which is the biggest bodily structure since it contains all of the muscles needed for flight.

Very gorgeous with the golden, silver and bronze colors!

Thank you so much for the ID, gatorfellows.
It seems this moth lives in Costa Rica and Mexico.
I rather not put the Mexican part since I am in Costa Rica.
