I almost stepped on this little guy... who looked as if it had just left the tadpole pond. The pond is frequented by Green Frogs as well as Painted and Snapping Turtles.

It's a little toadlet. Hard to tell species on recent metamorphs because they aren't fully developed yet (especially the characters used to tell them apart!), but I would say fowler's if I had to take a guess.
