I'm pretty sure it's an immature Goldfinch..but, only 1 wingbar?

Habitat:

Seen at the Biltmore Estate in the perennial border.

Thanks Liam...I looked at maybe 20 photos and could not see a second wingbar...I was looking at a field guide tonight and started to think it might be an adult male.

American Goldfinch is correct - a male in nonbreeding plumage. The lesser wingbar is covered by the scapulars. Great photos!
