Jayawickramalakshika, I think you should check out this link about butterfly handling. Perhaps IrungbamJatishworSingh should too: http://insects.about.com/od/butterfliesm... .

After that it flew away n alive.. Working in this field from last 7 year and I know how to handle it. I love them and working for them..

jayawickramalakshika, As you see in the third photo, the hindwing is not properly open may be due to some problem. I was checking it. You and I all love butterfly (as well as other nimals/insects), I was not in the intention to harm this beautiful creature.

jayawickramalakshika, What do you mean?? What you want to say??

Oh, that's great!

Its a very complex species. with different forms so it is very difficult to identify. With the help of Dr Isaac Kehimkar and Peter Smetacek, identified this species as E. blanda.

Thanks for your help in ID.

Hello Jatishwor.. what you have I believe is the Eurema simulatrix: http://butterflycircle.blogspot.com/2009..., http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eurema_simu.... I myself could not determine the difference between the common grass and the three-spot grass. I am very much interested to know confirmation since I have similar spottings: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/152..., http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/152....

There is little confusion between Three spot grass Yellow and the species above. ID confirmation requested please.
