Palthis angulalis

Description:

Lovely tan, brown and red colored moth with unusually shaped wings. Male moths in this genus have long labial palps that extend out and curve up a bit on the end, looking like a big nose. Females have furry front legs that make them look like they are wearing leg warmers.

Habitat:

Suburban. Attracted to lights the night before.
