Jolly, the dark blue/red low visibility roundel has being used by Royal Air Force and Royal Navy for many years, as can be seen here: http://www.airsceneuk.org.uk/oldstuff/vf... The reference to Malcolm Wilton-Jones is because he worked as comunications officer at the RAF, serving on HP Victors.
