Description:

Entire plant dark to light green. Captitulum small; fascicle branches <5. Stem leaf fan-shaped fimbriate. branch leaf ovate-slender tipped. @ leaf cross-section, green cells mostly exposed on inner surface. Most distinguishing characteristic is the lacerated stem leaf.

Habitat:

Damp shaded portion of sphagnum bog. Near birch and hemlock trees.
