I wish I could've gotten closer! I was so excited to see this owl fly by us! ~~~ The Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation suggested the ID judging by the ear tufts and silhouette size.

ChristyHolland, I wasn't sure if owls were actually classified as raptors. I will go ahead and add it though!

I've never seen an Oklahoma sunset that wasn't amazing and unique! =)

Birding For Fun, I'm not entirely sure if there are any other horned owls in Oklahoma. I'm checking with our Wildlife Department. =)
