Grass Spider

Genus Agelenopsis

Habitat:

Found in the grass of our orchard.

Notes:

After a rainy night this web looked like a sheet of water. This species has a sheet web with a funnel at one end. The web is not sticky but the spider uses speed to capture prey that walks across the web.
