Description:

Also known as the giant tree frog, Litoria infrafrenata is the world's largest tree frog, but this individual is small juvenile (see 4th photo). This species is native to the rainforests of northern Queensland, Australia, New Guinea, the Bismarck Islands and the Admiralty Islands.This species is nocturnal and this individual is resting out the day in the curve of a banana leaf.

Habitat:

Spotted on a banana leaf in a large, semi-urban yard & garden, in close proximity to a disturbed patch of remnant lowland forest.
