Toad Tadpoles

Anaxyrus

Description:

Tadpoles on the pool tarp.

Habitat:

Pond

Notes:

We have lots of species of frog and toad, so not sure which tadpoles these are. Do multiple species lay eggs together?

How did you know that they are toads not frogs?

Thanks, Ashley. You know so much about reptiles and amphibians. I hope I will be like you when I'm older.

Yes multiple species will lay eggs in the same body of water, but these are toad tadpoles. So either fowler's toad or American toad, but they are both Anaxyrus sp. so you could label it as that :)
