According to Wikipedia, mortality rate from eating Deathcap mushrooms can be reduced by taking 'silybin', a chemical found in Silybum marianum (Milk Thistle) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milk_thistl...). Wikipedia also claims that 'severe liver damage in Amanita phalloides poisoning can be prevented effectively when administration of silybin begins within 48 hours of mushroom intake.'. Milk thistle can be bought in tablet form from health shops or on eBay
